Hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2011-2012 catalogs are retiring, and this is your chance to get them before they’re gone. Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in early!

When you view the retiring stamps list, you may notice it’s longer than in years past. During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever!

Take the time to check the list out against your current catalog and make sure that you have the sets you want before they are gone!!  Links for the list are on the left side bar.  This is really an exciting time of year for me, I can’t wait to see what will be in the new catalog.  With so many set retiring, there have to be many fresh new stamps in it!!

I just had to finally show you the lovely box that my friend Debbie made for me!  I had loaned her like four sheets of cardstock for an event.  So along with repaying the cardstock – she  made me this gorgeous box!  Need cardstock?  It’s just beautiful and I love it!!

First off, before I forget,  today is our son-in-law Tom’s birthday!  Happy Birthday to you!  He is OLD, really o-l-d!!!

Today is also the day that the SPCA was founded in 1866!  Lets hear from our pet people out there. . .

I was going to post a photo of Tom’s birthday card, however, I actually sent it out early this year.  Usually it is late!  So I am posting another item instead.  Hope you like it.

I just heard this and it sounds a bit weird. . . Dingas Day is a Polish tradition it seems. Falling the day after Easter, on Dingas Day the men may throw water on the woman they are attracted to.  However, the following day, the women can throw pottery at the men.  Whoa!!  Way too dangerous to me!!

Today is the day The Pony Express was founded in 1860.  Wow!  Mail has been being delivered for a long time!

To commemorate this I would encourage you to mail someone you are thinking about a card today.  I am doing just that myself.  I would love to know who you sent a card to and why you chose that person.
